Small ski resort but PACKED with fresh powder for awesome sidecountry and backcountry skiing. It's also a very interesting resort for beginners and intermediate skiers/snowboarders. There are many other activities for non-skiers as well. Booking BUS + LIFT package from Sapporo is the same price as a full day ski lift ticket so if you are not driving by yourself, you might want consider getting the package.
